One of the more common fluoro tubes, they are used mainly for general lighting purposes.
Sometimes also used in display cabinets, commercial fridges and bay marie. These 18 watt, T8 (26 mm diameter), tri-phosphor tubes are 589 mm long and come in cool white (perfect for general lighting) and daylight (great for food displays).

Advisory Note:
For best perfomance and safety, starters should be replaced with each new fluorescent tube. Starters will deteriorate over time and may disintegrate altogether. If this happens, internal components are exposed, which at worst case may lead to a high risk of electric shock and at best case, makes the old starter difficult to replace.
