VERSATILE METALHALIDE LAMP FOR MAINTENANCE-FRIENDLY OPEN LUMINAIRES

The compact POWERSTAR HQI®-E elliptical lamp is available in 70,100 and 150 W types and is approved for use in open luminaires without shields. With this lamp, the function of the luminaire shield is performed by an integrated glass tube. The fact that the lamp has an E27 screw base and can be used in unshielded luminaires means that it can be replaced quickly and easily.

Open luminaires do not suffer from the problem of dust deposits on the shield, so the POWERSTAR HQI-E gives designers the freedom to create new maintenancefriendly lighting solutions. HQI®-E is ideal for rotationsymmetrical reflectors in recessed ceiling downlights for general lighting in factories, offices, warehouses and exhibition halls.
